The day was happy to be alive...

Well, well, well. Life is good. Mother sent me a package including, but not limited to, a DVD of one of the finer productions I was in during my high school days. And damn... I looked young. Like... creepy young. And that was four years ago. I mean, yes, I have developed facial hair in the intervening years, but all the same, I am suddenly aware of time's inexorable march, and the fact that one day I am going to die and eventually I will be forgotten, and it's only a matter of time before I am nothing.

This is what my therapist calls "catastrophic thinking" and advises I not do. But I ain't going to play her games.

Anyway... 'Boise, Idaho'. Good times... good times. Makin' me happy this evening.

Wait, this post did start out with the phrase "Life is good", correct?

No, this post started out with the phrase "Well, well, well." Pay attention, there will be a test.

Is it multiple choice?

In the sense that, your lifetime being limited, there is an extremely large though ultimately finite set of things that you could possibly write... yes. Yes, it is multiple choice.
