Nor'easted.

So it rained today. Nor'easter, actually. I think this is the first time I REALLY got an idea of what made a nor'easter more significant than ordinary storms.

President Street, which runs parallel to my own, was a river. I say this with no hyperbole, whatsoever. As someone who has walked along and through the Chicago River several times, I am not exactly an expert on riverdom, but I feel myself qualified to say "Yep, yep, that there is a river I'm walking on". It was crazy.

Of course, I'm in no mood now to talk of it, but maybe tomorrow (during which school is cancelled) I shall find the wherewithal.
