Happy birthday, Mother

Because I couldn't say it better than I did last year.

It's my mother's birthday once again; this year, because I have a little bit of my own money, I was able to spring for actual physical giftage in the form of pretty flowers. And trust me, they are DAMN pretty. So pretty that looking directly upon it would make one's face melt off in a decidedly 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' fashion.

I sure hope that all my mother wanted for her birthday was to not be posted about in conjunction with face-melting, because then she'd be in for a major disappointment.
