I is a star!

Man, some dude wants to have a virtual panel for the History is Dead anthology. That's right, that book I'm in, some dude wants to have us authors all web-chat about it together. This is kooky! I am like some sort of real star, sort of!

I get the impression that horror, being inherently out-of-the-mainstream (bar the big-boys King and Koontz), has a much lower standard for what is a -big- production. Now... this isn't a bad thing, and I don't want to imply that it is... it's just a thing I've noticed. Big is smaller in these genre productions, which I guess works to my advantage, because it gets me put on a virtual panel even though I'm going through a tiny publisher.

Also, I'm on a panel! I'm the DUDE!

I don't know if I would call Koontz's work horror. At least not all of it. Some of it is debatable, but I would say he is more on the thriller side.
