Hey kids! I'm back! Everybody needs a week off, from time to time. Helps us get our bearings, forget our woes, and remember why posting on one's website is a pleasure, and not a chore.

"We've missed you, boss."

Cats, it's been quite a week. First and foremost, I am a dude with a job now; SAT tutoring with the Princeton Review. I'm gon' be teaching the youth of today, all standin' in the front of a classroom with a blackboard and whatnot. So, after several months of telling such professors as recommended I become a teacher that no, no, that's not likely to happen, I've given in and become an educator. Way to stick to my guns, there, Ed.

I also might have a car? Maybe? Things are still weirdly up-in-the-air, but call it a fifty percent chance that I'll be an automotive dude in a week's time. So, we'll see.

And I spent a lot of time with the lady, who displays a remarkable capacity to not piss me off after a work week of close-quarters living. Astounding!

And I got uvulitis! For those unaware, that's the technical term for the swelling of the uvula to the point where, instead of hanging at the back of your throat like a good boy it dangles down until it butts against the back of your tongue and freaks you the living fuck out even though it's really not a big deal. But it's freaky, and it affords you a rare opportunity to say "uvula".

And I saw some movies and read some comics and talked to an old friend I haven't heard from in ages and painted some miniatures and screwed up a timetable and made an omelet that was SOOOOOOOOOO delicious that God Himself couldn't eat it.

... okay, right there, right after I blasphemed, I got a toothache. Sorry, God! You can have as much of my omelet as You want!
