God of War II! Is good! No, really, really good!

This is no surprise, of course. God of War (the original) is arguably the best action-platformer ever created, and without a doubt the best action-platformer ever created with an ancient Greek mythological theme to it. It's got some rough competition vis-a-vis the Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper series... except, while those were both awesome-azing in their original incarnations, they only really showed their full potential as sequels. God of War... while the sequel seems to be better than the original, it's simply a matter of it being a little more played with and interesting, not blown out of the water in the same way as the original Ratchet or Sly.

There's an essay here, but I need to play. Some other time.
