Seat 13D

One of the things I like about the Internet- one of the many, many things I like about the Internet- is that I have the ability to choose my seat on an airplane. It's not one of the options I get whilst buying the ticket, no, but later on, at my leh-zure, I can go and get myself this bird's-eye view of the thing and pick out my seat from among those yet untaken. And, as I have for every one of the past four flights to and from Chicago, I just got myself seat 13D. Why? Well, good buddy, it's about the Legroom. You see, row 13 is the emergency exit row.

Think about that one a second.

Just what kind of sick irony are these aeronauticians pulling on us, eh? I mean, seriously! Okay, I know, it's basically random, and on a larger plane it'll be row 14 or higher, and on a smaller plane it'll be 12, or lower, or not there at all. WHATEVER, man! It's still freaky-deaky to me!
