Team America: World Police

By the folks who gave you South Park, it's Team America! Coming out this October (right before the election, in what I'm sure is a mere coincidence) it's an action-adventure that just might have a small degree of political irreverence, perhaps. Oh, and puppets. No, really, it's all puppets. Marionettes, like in 'Thunderbirds'. The TV show, not the movie, which won't have any marionettes, and this will probably suck because, lets face it, did we all watch 'Thunderbirds' for the brilliant acting? No, we watched it because it was filmed in SUPERMARIONATION, which was a fancy way of saying 'with marionettes'.

My question is: "Why haven't I heard of this?". No, really, an all-puppet movie by the creators of South Park is coming out in two months and I'm just now learning of it? What happened? Wasn't I once 'in the know'? I thought I was! And Trey Parker and Matt Stone are still more-or-less 'big ticket items' I thought. I mean, sure, not as much today as a few years ago, but 'South Park' is still a big draw on Comedy Central; along with 'Reno 911' and 'The Daily Show' that's about the only comedy the channel still shows, so why haven't I seen previews? Hell, if any movie should have had a preview for this, it's 'Harold and Kumar go to White Castle'! I don't get it. I just don't get it!
