Xangasity!
The problem, I've discovered, with not posting every day, it seems, is that it's very easy to not post at all. And then, I fear I will fall victim to Xangasity.
That's right, Xangasity.
Xangasity, people! You know... it happens to Xanga people all the time (although it plagues LiveJournalers quite often too. It's much more uncommon in we few, proud, Bloggans, but not unheard of. It describes the state of site where one updates extremely infrequently (less than once a fortnight in some of the more severe cases), and then never posts more than a sentence or two, generally saying something utterly incomprehensible to anyone besides oneself. Generally, they say something along the lines of 'I'm sad' or 'I'm angry' or more to point 'I want attention'. No real content, see (in the more hopeless stages, one might just post a sad little emoticon with no text at all... LiveJournal's 'Current Mood' dealie being the ultimate enabler for this).
Now, I'll be the first to admit that the occasional "LOOK AT ME" post is acceptable, healthy even, to do nothing but? Not so much! Let's face it, good long stretches of meaningful text are what the Internet is made of. Well, if one ignores pornography. Even with, text is still the Internet's carbon, and porn merely its nitrogen, or possibly phosphorus. So, pages without much text are... like... silicon-based? Robots? Hell... I lost myself. That's never good.

See, see? That's not good, people! I ain't letting myself do that! Which is why, as of this moment, I'm purging myself of all emotion.
Can you keep a secret? The original draft of this post was as follows: "[Sigh]. I know I'm being pathetically stupid, but I just can't help myself." END QUOTE! Fortunately, I caught myself just in time to turn it into a nice, long, marginally hypocritical rant instead. Good for me!
