I've been remiss!

I have, though! I've been here three days now, yet have completely neglected to tell you about my super-cool new room! (I've also neglected to tell you about my super-cool early birthday present, but such is life. I'll get to that tomorrow... maybe. We'll see.) Well, the important thing to know is that I'm living in a triple... but without anyone else. That's right kids... I got three beds to myself. This is, incidentally, a big surprise, as I was told I'd have a roommate (turns out I misunderstood when I was told who my suitemate would be), and I'm not, you know, being coddled or anything. So, here we are with three beds in one room, and what does Renee, in her nigh-upon-infinite wisdom suggest? Pushing two beds together to create a giant superbed.

Renee gets ten points for that suggestion. I am sleeping WELL.

It takes up a lot of room, but Roomie is huge, such that the empty corner where I don't have the Queen-sized bed, the office made of two desks, or the media center filling the space under the loft bed is STILL as big as one of the singles in Rice Hall. That space has been dubbed 'the ballroom'.

I am going to miss this place come September.
