Not homeless!

So... it's after eleven. Been a while since I did one of these late sort of posts, hasn't it? I'll take that as a sign that my like is moving in the right direction, and I've become distant again. Go me!

Speaking of life going in the right direction: HOUSING! I have a place to live, on-campus, next year! No searching for apartments, no worrying about all the associated piddle and crap that would be entailed by that, and certainly no freaking out on the subject any more. Take that, and me getting thet Mass Comm essay done, and I've slid down from utterly overwhelmed to comfortably whelmed. This is a good thing, even if it's not necessarily a word in that language that we speak. Now, I doubt I'll get Rice, which is to say, a single room... I'll probably end up with a roomate (Which is annoying, if I had gotten an apartment I would have too, but it would be someone I knew), but it's not a big deal. And I can put in to transfer over to Rice immediately, and maybe get lucky and have some loser drop out before I even unpack. That would make my year, basically. Also, a flying unicorn will alight on my windowsill, and tell me the meaning of life. Or give me candy. Or tell me about candy, which would also be nice. It's all good.
