I am in DESPERATE need of a hot shower.
On the other hand, I got my first paycheck today. Actually, it was owed to me last Friday, but I have... issues about asking people for things. Anyway, I gots a cool hunnerd dollars in my bank account now. And you know what that means?
It means that (ignoring the fact that I will be inclined to spend a small portion of that money on, say, food) I am about one-fifth of the way to being able to afford a visit to California this January.
I can think of no other reward that would make eight hours handling gay erotica seem quite so worthwhile.

Seriously. I handled a lot of gay erotica today. I don't know WHY today was determined to be gay erotica day at Borders, but a statistically ridiculous amount of literature had a distinct "contains the words 'turgid' and 'throbbing' in close proximity" vibe to it.
Oh, right. Time for a hot shower.
