Oh, other news: I did end up going to the Players meeting at that bar. Not nearly as fiercely uncomfortable as I had feared, and they had buffalo wings that weren't bad. But the e-board itself seems to be a living example of a anarcrocy. That is to say, government by utter chaos. I have pretty much no idea what actually happened, except for the part about the chicken. Mmm... chicken. Anyway, I have to relax now, as fast as I possibly can.
Greetings and salutations interneteers! This is your best friend's best friend, Ed. I'm not above making a weblog, though I am above using "OMG," "LOL," and/or "WTF" in my posts. If I have to mention outrageous monkey gymnastics, Louisiana's only library, or the world's tastiest fries, well, I'll just type the whole thing out, thank you very much.

First week done! Forever!
Okay. Finally, a chance to catch my proverbial breath. Busy week, what with the unpacking and getting settled and catching up and poking freshmen and new classes and figuring out which books I'd actually need to buy and all. But, I've got no plans for the next twenty-four hours, so I can relax all leisurely-like, and ain't no reason not to. Aah. Relaxing. Good stuff. Let's see, I still have to get a phone cord, phone service, and restart the TiVo, but I'm not going to worry about that until shows I want to watch start coming on. That is to say, until 'Enterprise' starts, October third. So... resting it up, then. Woo.
