Greetings and salutations interneteers! This is your best friend's best friend, Ed. I'm not above making a weblog, though I am above using "OMG," "LOL," and/or "WTF" in my posts. If I have to mention outrageous monkey gymnastics, Louisiana's only library, or the world's tastiest fries, well, I'll just type the whole thing out, thank you very much.

Computin'!
So, my mother has been having some computer difficulties, right? And while I love her dearly, she's no Madame Technology, so of course I'm called upon to make everything work like it should. So, that's why I haven't much to comment upon today; I've been busy. I will say this, though, in an effort to stem the tide of pop-ups and adware sneaking in through Internet Explorer's many security holes, I finally switched both her and myself over to Firefox. It was recommended to me by a nameless, faceless stranger on the internet, so I went for it wholeheartedly. Right now I'm exploring all the various varied and sundry sundries it has to offer. I'm particularly fond of the tabs, as someone who hates opening up new windows that clutter up my taskbar. Yep, it's a whole lotta nice, that Firefox. I'm going to get back to selecting every option on the menu bar-- methodically, one at a time-- I'll post another update when I stumble across the next thing that's so unbearably awesome I need to tell the world.
